What We Do

Kingcombe Meadows

We believe that the natural world, our place within it, and our mental and physical wellbeing are intimately linked and that emotional connections are the reason we value things.

By providing a thoughtful, encouraging and inspirational environment in which our visitors can explore their route to connecting with and appreciating nature, we will support their learning experience, enabling them to get the best out of their visit and make that emotional connection.

We aim to encourage everyone, regardless of age, ability or knowledge, to explore the natural world at their own pace and discover the incredible things that can be found all around us. By re-establishing the connections that a hundred years ago everyone took for granted, we believe we can build the support for the natural world that is needed if we are to safeguard it for future generations.

By providing a safe and tranquil space for children and families to explore the natural world together, at a pace that suits them, we aim to help them share in the wonder and joy of the adventure and discovery and together find their own special place within it.

We strive to serve food in our café that was grown locally, ethically and with minimum input and minimum food miles, so establishing the link between the countryside around us and the food we eat and encouraging everyone to play their part in supporting local communities and local producers
