Kingcombe Meadows - SWLA Art Residency

In 2017, Dorset Wildlife Trust celebrated 30 years of Kingcombe Meadows Nature Reserve, a stunning swathe of over 450 acres of wildflower meadows, pasture, woodlands and ancient hedgerows in the heat of the rolling hills and vales of west Dorset.

As part of this celebration, we teamed up with the Society of Wildlife Artists for a project with 9 artists creating artwork in response to the incredible wildlife and nature of the reserve. Our aim was to increase awareness and appreciation of the value of the natural world.

The SWLA art exhibition at Kingcombe will run from March 28th - April 6th, and will feature works from Carry Akroyd, Bob Greenhalf, Simon Griffiths, Richard Jarvis, Harriet Mead, Nik Pollard, Greg Poole, Matt Underwood and Antonia Phillips.

SWLA Art Exhibition Wednesday 28th – Thursday April 5th, 2018 (10am – 4pm)  free entry.

Tearooms will be open each day from 9.30am - 4pm
