Discover the stunning spring flowers and plants of Kingcombe Meadows.
Kingcombe’s mosaic of hedgerows and lanes burst into spring each year with stunning blooms. Enjoy a relaxed informative guided walk around the reserve learning about the natural history that makes this landscape so special. Depending on the season, you may also enjoy the carpets of bluebells too.
About the Leader:
Jim White is a keen naturalist and has been connected to the Dorset Wildlife Trust since moving to Dorset in 1979. He has always been passionate about nature and spent his entire professional career working in nature conservation, ending with 13 years as the Dorset team manager for English Nature (now Natural England). He was awarded an MBE in 2008 for his services to nature conservation in Dorset.
£8 pp - includes guided activities and refreshments.
Meet at Kingcombe Centre 10.00 am, finishing approx. 12.30pm.
What to bring:
As you will be outside please bring suitable clothing, wet weather jackets (just in case!) and good walking shoes.
