Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing with the Kingcombe Mobile Planetarium

Location: The Kingcombe Centre , Lower Kingcombe, Toller Porcorum, , Dorchester , Dorset , DT2 0EQ
Presentations for primary age children upwards start with a trip to Ancient Egypt, telling how the ancients filled the sky with their imaginative patterns of gods and animals, and what they made of the daily rotation of the sky. This leads to a discussion of what the Earth is doing and the respective roles of the Moon and the Sun as they influence the Earth in space.
