Landscape Photography Workshop
Mon 10 - Wed 12 Apr 2017
Develop your skills in technique, composition and image-processing on this photographic workshop covering the land and coast of West Dorset.
Dorset has been inspiring artists for centuries and it’s no surprise with its inspirational landscape of World Heritage Jurassic Coast to the ancient hillforts. This special workshop offers you the opportunity to expand your creativity whilst utilising the early spring light, shoots of colour in vegetation and atmospheric weather conditions.
Mark will provide tuition in composition and camera techniques whilst in the field, together with post processing tutorials back at the Centre. The workshop will cover West Dorset’s beautiful rolling landscapes as well as the World Heritage coastline. Few photographers know Dorset as well as Mark Bauer, so as well as receiving expert tuition from your tutor, you can be sure that you will be in the right locations at the best time of day to make the most of them. Over the two days, you will have the opportunity to shoot two sunsets and two sunrises, weather permitting.
With digital photography, the image-making process does not normally finish when you press the shutter; good post processing skills are vital to making the most of your image. Mark will show the basics of Adobe Lightroom, together with hints and tips on how to make your images stand out from the crowd.
Suitable for any level of experience from beginner to advanced practitioner, although you will need to have had some experience of working with a digital camera and be able to use photographic software.
