Make your own handmade fabulous felt decorations for your tree and home including robins, baubles and more.
Needle felting involves using barbed felting needles to repeatedly stab wool fibres together to form solid 3 dimensional forms. On this one day workshop Carla will teach you the different techniques of building individual base shapes, joining them together using only felting needles and wool and then adding layers to finish your sculpture.
On this special festive workshop we will focus on creating stunning decorations including robins, baubles and more. Perfect for adding that handmade feel to your home or making great presents. So why not come along and learn how to make your very own unique decorations for a really handmade Christmas.
Included are the base materials you will need including needle, pad and wool.

Comments from previous events:
Thank you for a great venue and course - Felting with Carla Taylor. My first attempt at felting was Christmas 2015 with Carla and she made us feel we could achieve something, and her bubbly personality and enthusiasm encouraged me to enrol on her course again - Jean.
I thoroughly enjoyed the felting course, our tutor Carla was excellent, explaining the process fully, discussing all the types of wool that can be used and their different properties, coming to each of us during the day making sure we were happy with what we were doing and offering advice as and when necessary - Helen.
