Tue 6 Oct  2015

This special autumn morning event offers you the opportunity to see the migrants, residents and potentially rare moths of the Kingcombe valley.  The event will include identification of, and discussion on the moths that will have been caught the night before in the range of special light traps we set around The Kingcombe Centre and reserve.

After your morning of discovery, you will then head back to the centre for a hearty brunch at the café.

David Brown, a former teacher of 20 years experience, has also lectured at Warwick University on Lepidoptera for many years.   He has conducted successful courses for the Field Studies Council and Adult Residential Colleges Association since 1990.  David is the County Moth Recorder for Warwickshire and author of ‘The Larger Moths Of Warwickshire’.
