Accommodation
Nineteen comfortable bedrooms in three unique buildings accommodate our residential guests and B&B business. In total, the studies centre sleeps 29, with further options for accommodation a short distance away.
Beech Cottage is a charming, detached house a short walk from the centre. Set well off the country lane it is a place for peace and tranquillity. Enjoy the surrounding garden or step two metres (six feet) from the back door and entre the 185 hectare (457 acre) Kingcombe Meadows Nature Reserve.
Inside is a large living room, sometimes used for courses, and a traditional wood fuel burner. The living room has an adjoining conservatory with a hatch to a well-fitted kitchen. The cottage sleeps eight in five bedrooms. These comprise two single and two double rooms with ensuite facilities. The final bedroom is a family room and sleeps three. This room has private facilities suitable for people with disabilities.
The Cowshed, refurbished in 2008 with help from generous donations, is a flagship for sustainability utilising pellet and log boilers, solar panels and a heat recovery system. The entrance leads you into a two-storey green oak conservatory with comfortable seats on the first floor where you can relax in the evening.
This building accommodates 15 people in 12 bedrooms. There are seven single and three twin ensuite bedrooms, including a single for people with disabilities. The final two rooms are single with private facilities.
The Barn that forms the core of the studies centre has three comfortable ensuite bedrooms. These comprise two double and one twin room.
